Client Cloud Workspace
Some SiteForge projects include access to a dedicated cloud workspace for sharing source materials safely and without unnecessary compression.
This workspace is intended for sending:
- original photos and videos,
- logos, brand assets, and design files,
- text content, PDFs, and briefing documents,
- replacement files during website updates or redesign work.
How access is delivered
When your website project or hosting service is prepared, you may receive a separate email with:
- your cloud workspace login,
- a dedicated password,
- a direct link to sign in.
This password is separate from your hosting panel and email password. Keep it stored securely and do not reuse it elsewhere.
If two-factor authentication is enabled for your cloud workspace, it is also separate from 2FA used for your account, hosting panel, or mailbox.
Recommended workflow
- Open the link from your welcome email.
- Sign in using the cloud workspace credentials provided to you.
- Create clearly named folders when sharing materials for different pages or tasks.
- Upload original files whenever possible so the SiteForge team can work from the highest-quality source material.
- Let the team know when new content has been uploaded if it is part of an active build or support request.
Best practices
- Prefer original files over screenshots or content sent through chat apps.
- Use descriptive file names such as
homepage-hero.jpg,team-bio.docx, orpricing-update.pdf. - Avoid mixing private credentials with general project assets unless specifically requested through a secure process.
- If you are unsure where a file should go, create a folder called
to-reviewand let the team know.
Access issues
If you cannot sign in, cannot find the welcome email, or need the password reset, contact SiteForge support from your client account area so access can be reissued securely.
