Logging In to WordPress

You can access your WordPress admin from the Hosting Panel without manually entering credentials each time.

Login from Hosting Panel​

  1. Log in to https://panel.siteforge.ie.
  2. Open Websites and select your WordPress website.
  3. Open Apps, select Manage for the WordPress installation, and find Single sign on.
  4. Confirm the WordPress user that will be used, then select the admin login action.
  5. Confirm that you are redirected to the expected WordPress dashboard.

Single sign-on uses the WordPress account selected in the panel. Check its role before continuing, especially on a client-managed website.

For security, we recommend using a custom WordPress login URL instead of the default /wp-admin path.

At SiteForge, this is usually configured during website setup.

Why: automated crawlers frequently scan /wp-admin and attempt logins with leaked usernames/passwords.

Use the login link that SiteForge assigns or agrees with you for your website.

If login fails​

  • Confirm you selected the correct website in Hosting Panel.
  • Reset the WordPress password from WP Toolkit or WordPress login screen if needed.
  • Temporarily disable browser extensions that autofill outdated credentials.
  • If your site uses a custom login URL, do not use /wp-admin.

Security tips​

  • Avoid sharing one admin account across multiple people.
  • Enable 2FA plugins for WordPress admin when required by your workflow.
  • Remove unused admin users after handover or staffing changes.
